Registration and login are required to submit items online and to check the status of current submissions.

 

Author Guidelines

The article processing, submission and publishing are free.

The published papers must be in English and (optional) in the native language of the author, appended at the end of the paper. Metadata  and Extended Abstract must be in english.


STEP 1. Extended Abstract Submission

The authors interested in submitting a proposal, have to:

A. Sign up as "author" (Send an email to stefano.brusaporci@univaq.it to ask to be registred as "author");

B. After receiving the email confirmation, the author has to log in ( top menu on the right);

C. Following the compilation procedure, the author can submit an abstract by the following steps:

C. 1. Fill in the section and the language fields, the general characteristics of the proposal and the copyright. Then, save to continue;

C.2. Upload the file (.odt; .doc; .docx; .pdf) with the EXTENDED ABSTRACT (main text 2,500-5,000 characters spaces included). To ensure a blind review, the file must be without the authors' names and without any reference that can make identity understood. The abstract must include: title of the call; title of the abstract, keywords (max 5), general topics, aims of the article, background, methodology, results, conclusions, innovative and original aspects, main references, at least THREE images with captions. Then, save to proceed. Do not load any additional files. The uploading of the extended abstract is mandatory.

C.3. Enter metadata (mandatory). Enter the required information being sure to insert the title of the proposal, and an additional synthetic abstract (max 1700 characters spaces included). This short abstract doesn't substitute the extended one.

C.4. Save to proceed. Do not load any additional files.

C.5. Confirmation. Save to confirm.

 

STEP 2. Full text submission for double blind peer review (you must remove the names of the authors)

The authors of the selected extended abstract submit the full text english  through the web platform of the journal. Please carefully follow the instructions:

A. Log in the journal's website, using the username and password of registration;

B. Select the specific proposal among those active. Then in the "Summary" section add the full-text as additional file (using the specific command). The file (. pdf; .odt; .doc; or .docx format) must include the text, figures with captions, notes and references, freely composed by the author. In addition to the English text, the author may also add the text in his native language, appended at the end of the english text. To to ensure blind reviews, the text must not contain the authors' names or references to authors or to their affiliations.

The metadata of the proposal must be completed in english.

Metadata:

1. Authors. Indicate ALL the authors of the article, in order of publication.

2. Title: Enter the title (max 150 characters including spaces);

3. Abstract: (synthetic) max 1700 characters, including spaces. The author can substitute the syntetic abstract already submitted in the extended abstracr prevours step, replacing it with a final one;

4. Indexing: Put 3-5 keywords (IMPORTANT: the keywords must be separated by a semicolon ";" and not by commas or other symbols);

5. Language: Enter the code "EN" of the language used for the full text presented for review process.

Text:

The full text must be no longer than 35.000 characters including spaces, references, notes and captions. Maximum 20 images.

The name of the author/s and any information which might identify the autors of the articles must be removed.

Maximum size of the loaded file ( *.pdf; *.odt, *.doc, *.docx or *.rtf format): 10 Mb.

The submission of the full text must be submitted ONLY by the web platform of the journal. All other forms of submission of the full text will not be accepted.

References have to be written according to APA Styles:

STEP 3. Final full text submission

After the double blind reviewing process, the Journal send the author(s) the revisions and eventually ask the author(s) to review the full text. The Journal will contact you by email to communicate the modalities to submit the camera ready paper.

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The proposal must not have been previously published, or presented to another journal. Otherwise it is necessary to inform the editor explaining in the comments and signing a releasing. The author is committed, under his responsibility, to obtain the releasing of copyrighted images and, if it’s necessary, the author is committed to provide a releasing to the Director of the journal. Submitting the final full text of the proposal, the author relieves the journal from any answerability in case of litigation.

  2. The submission file should be in *.odt format (OpenOffice); *.doc or *.docx (Microsoft Word).

  3. If possible, it’s necessary that the author provides the URL of the references cited in the proposal.

  4. Where needed, within the text, use italics instead of underlining (except in URL addresses). All figures and tables are placed within the text, in their appropriate places.

  5. The text must satisfy the bibliographical requests summarized in the Author Guidelines (see previous section). In particular, when the drawings are not by the author, he must be indicated where they came from. For drawings preserved in the archives, please provide the following information: title, location, year, author, type of representation, graphic scale, size, support, graphic technique and, if the design is autograph, its cataloging within the archive.

    Example: Altar for the Cathedral, Salta (Argentina), 1898, Carlo Rossi, Front, 19x28cm, ink drawing on paper (or: ink on tracing paper, pencil on cardboard, watercoloured copy, pastel on paper, ink and pencil on tracing paper, pencil and pastel on spolvero pad, etc.), autograph, Archive ...., Envelop XI Charter 12.

  6. If you are submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, please follow the instructions on “How to ensure a blind review”.

The authors who choose to publish on this journal are agree to the following terms:

    1. The authors retain the rights on their work and leave to the journal the right of first publication of the work. The work is simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives Licence 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0).This license allows others to share the work indicating the authorship and the first publication of this journal.
